On December 17th Uruguay XXI's Board of Directors meeting took place, with the presence of its president, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Pedro Humberto Vaz Ramela, the Uruguayan ambassador in China and future Chancellor, Dr. Luis Almagro, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Cr. Álvaro García, the representative of the commerce and industry sector, Ing. Agr. Diego Balestra, the representative of the services sector, Dr. Alfonso Varela, member of the Chamber of Commerce and Export of Agriproducts, Mr. Christian Bolz and the Executive Director of Uruguay XXI, Ec. Roberto Villamil.
Also, other ministers members of Uruguay XXI's Extended Board of Directors, were present, such as: Minister Ing. Agr. Andrés Berterreche for the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries, Minister Dr. Héctor Lescano for the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Direct of the Planning and Budget Office (OPP), Cr. Martín Dibarboure.
After the meeting, a cocktail celebrating the inauguration of Uruguay XXI's offices in Rincón 518, Old city was offered for the employees of all offices in the Uruguay Fomenta building press and authorities.
