Centro de Ensayos de Software

Organization with more than 20 years of experience in software quality and testing. It offers services, consulting and specialized training, including the only online career in the area, endorsed by the University of the Republic.

The Centro de Ensayos de Software (CES) is a Uruguayan non-profit foundation affiliated with the University of the Republic (Udelar). With over 21 years of experience, CES specializes in software quality and testing. It was founded in 2004 as a joint initiative between Udelar’s Faculty of Engineering and the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology (CUTI), with support from the European Union and UNDP—highlighting the collaboration between academia and industry. CES provides a broad range of services, including functional testing, test automation, performance testing, compliance, IT security, consulting, and training. Its Software Testing Career Program—the only fully online course of its kind endorsed by Udelar’s School of Engineering—has trained over 1,000 professionals. CES works with clients in finance, healthcare, fintech, software development, video games, and cybersecurity. Its main audience includes technology companies and software-intensive sectors seeking to improve product and process quality. CES is also co-creator and co-organizer of TestingUy, the largest software testing event in Latin America, and an active member of CUTI.
