MARIA BOUVIER is a sustainable fashion brand that aims to be an alternative for those passionate women that choose to dress reflecting their beliefs and values.

Based in Uruguay, South America, we design and create pieces with love and responsibility, caring for every detail. Not only do we focus on the final result, but we also value the entire production process, trying to make it as sustainable as possible.

We only use certified organic cotton, hand natural dye those textiles in our studio creating unique and beautiful colors, and we produce locally in a fair way collaborating with our community. We believe that the handcraft dyeing process using natural dyes is the soul and essence of our pieces making each of them different in its own way.

In February 2019, it was selected by Uruguay XXI to be one of the 6 brands that would travel, supported by the mentioned institution, to New York to participate in Capsule. She exhibited again in September 2019 and February 2020, also helped by Uruguay XXI. Thanks to this internationalization process, María Bouvier currently exports most of her production to the United States and Free People is one of her main clients.
