ADOS Desarrollos: renewable energy and agritech engineering. We design and develop solar PV and biogas projects, and technology solutions for agriculture.
ABOUT US
ADOS Desarrollos is a Uruguayan engineering company specialized in renewable energy and agritech, led by professionals with extensive experience in environmental engineering, energy and geomatics. We were founded to bring agriculture and industry solutions that cut energy costs and boost productivity.
We provide end-to-end engineering for solar PV projects, from agricultural and industrial self-consumption to utility-scale plants: resource assessment, design, detailed engineering, permitting and owner’s engineering. We also offer pivot irrigation, biogas and digital tools for agriculture.
We have delivered agricultural and industrial PV plants in Uruguay (126 kW and 100 kW, among others) and develop MW-scale proposals across the region, such as a 13 MWp plant in Ecuador.
Our edge: independent engineering, regulatory expertise, GIS site analysis and a view that integrates energy, water and production.

H2 HIF Uruguay
Success story: resource measurement campaign for HIF Uruguay For HIF’s e-fuels project in Uruguay, ADOS delivered the wind and solar resource measurement campaign on a turnkey basis: design, installation, operation and maintenance, with DNV as independent engineer. The network comprises 3 met masts, 2 LiDARs and 1 solar station, with off-grid power, shelters and communications. All six units successfully completed their 18-month campaigns between April and July 2026. The result is a bankable dataset for project design and financing
FEATURED PROJECT
Success story: pivot irrigation and solar PV at Mate Amargo (Soriano, Uruguay)
For Río Zorzal S.A., ADOS acted as owner’s engineer on an integrated pivot irrigation and solar energy project. We assessed and selected suppliers, reviewed contracts and coordinated execution, with the farmer dealing with a single point of contact. We designed a 124 kWp PV plant with high-power bifacial modules, facing north at a 30° tilt. The layout was optimized through GIS shading analysis of the surroundings. The plant generates about 175 MWh/year and offsets the irrigation load on an annual-balance basis. This lowers the farm’s energy costs. We also built a digital dashboard for project tracking.
