It is the first printed newspaper for children and teenagers in Uruguay published by La diaria, which is delivered to subscribers' homes every month. At la diaria, we are convinced of the need for journalism that incorporates the interests of children and includes the perspective of the younger generations. That is why, in April 2021, we launched Gigantes, a monthly print publication that combines the characteristics of a newspaper and a magazine to reach a curious, participatory audience of children who seek to explore imaginative content beyond what is available online. It is now also available online with GIGANTES WEB, a safe and freely accessible space for children to promote dialogue and exchange between the editorial team and readers, members of Gigantes, participants in GASH, and other children who are not subscribers.
