Company's presentation

Manos is a non-for-profit. Manos exists to support the work, of hundreds of artisans, dyers, knitters, and weavers, and guarantee their livelihoods and that of their families. DreamBig&MakeSmall Production methods are artisanal. We dye in small batches, knit by hand, and weave using traditional looms. We believe that by honoring our traditional Uruguayan craft, we can reach the world.

Lovers of our Mother Earth

We have been looking after Mother Earth for over 50 years now. Our small-scale supply chain uses little water and means no excess of stock in landfills. Any surplus yarn gets repurposed into something new.

Artisans are the Owners

Every purchase support female artisans from rural Uruguay. Work provides financial independence, and with that comes stability and freedom of choice. The New Luxury Manos has been selling locally and exporting yarns, handknits, and handwoven for some of the top luxury companies worldwide for more than 50 years.  WFTO Manos is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization since 2009.
