    Uruguay will participate in BIME Bilbao 2026, one of the leading international events for the Ibero-American music industry, taking place October 28–31 in Bilbao, Spain.

    The National Institute of Music and Uruguay XXI are coordinating the country’s delegation through Conecta, a program designed to support the international growth of Uruguay’s music sector by facilitating participation in industry markets, trade shows, and professional networking events.

    The delegation will include artists and music projects, as well as industry professionals such as artist representatives, booking agents, production companies, record labels, festival programmers, venue and touring circuit representatives, technical professionals, and other stakeholders involved in developing Uruguayan music projects.

    BIME Bilbao serves as a platform connecting Europe and Latin America. Each year, it brings together artists, music companies, festivals, festival programmers, record labels, booking agents, and other industry professionals through a program featuring conferences, training sessions, business meetings, showcases, and networking opportunities.
