Business Matching Event - Fashion Industry 2026

Uruguay XXI invites Uruguayan companies in the fashion design sector to apply to participate in a new business roundtable with international buyers invited to Uruguay to generate commercial opportunities. The event will take place in November, on a date yet to be confirmed.

The selected brands will participate in working sessions during the months leading up to the event, aimed at deepening their understanding of their business proposal, target markets, and internationalization capabilities.

Who can apply?

Uruguayan fashion design companies with their own brand that have an interest in and the potential to develop or expand their presence in international markets.

The selection process will consider, among other factors:

• Brand proposition and positioning.

• Level of commercial readiness for international markets.

• Export experience or commercial track record.

• Production and operational capabilities.

• Available marketing materials.

• Potential to generate business opportunities with international buyers.

• Commitment to actively participate in the various planned activities.

The selection of companies will be conducted in collaboration with the international consulting firm Adele Tetangco, and the scheduling of meetings will depend on the interests and profiles of the invited buyers.

Selected companies must:

• Participate in the working sessions and preparatory activities defined by the organization.

• Provide the requested information and materials within the established deadlines.

• Actively participate in the business matchmaking sessions and other activities related to the international visitor program.

• Cooperate with post-event follow-up and evaluation activities.
