As part of the 2026 Business Roundtable for the fashion sector, Uruguay XXI invites brands and designers to participate in Uruguay Collective & Beyond, an event to share experiences and explore the challenges and opportunities of internationalization, with a special focus on the United States.
The event will take place on Wednesday, November 18, starting at 9:30 a.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn, and will feature a panel of international buyers and a masterclass led by Mónica Mendoza Bravo.
What does a brand need to establish itself in other markets? How can you prepare to connect with international buyers? What are retailers looking for, and how can you identify new business opportunities? These questions will guide a morning of discussion and learning.
The event is free of charge, and space is limited.
Program
- 9:30 a.m. | Panel with international buyers. The guests at the Business Roundtable will share their perspectives on the market and what they look for when selecting brands and products.
- Coffee break
- 10:45 a.m. | Masterclass: Identity in Action: From a Unique Perspective to a Brand with Meaning, Consistency, and Value. Mónica Mendoza Bravo will discuss how to turn brand identity into a criterion for making decisions regarding positioning, product, pricing, and communication, and how to align the creator’s vision with the affinities and opportunities of global markets.
