New survey of exporting MSMEs
The results indicate that two out of three consulted companies exported between 2015 and 2019.

In December 2019, Uruguay XXI together with Consulting Team conducted a new edition of the "Survey of MSMEs Exporters" with the aim of getting to know the reality of the companies linked to exports and their support needs.
The results indicate that two out of three consulted companies exported between 2015 and 2019. Among the exporting companies, 63% consider that exporting is an important or very important part of their business.
Among the main obstacles identified, the companies mention the access to financing and access to counterparts in destination markets. Both challenges are addressed by the program of commercial visits that Uruguay XXI coordinates and that the companies choose as the main support of the agency.
In this sense, 76% of the export companies that participated in Uruguay XXI activities declared to be satisfied with the work organized by the agency.
