Company's presentation

CLIMIT is an Uruguayan consulting company committed to sustainable development, which goal is to advise private companies, public entities, NGOs and other organizations in their mitigation (decarbonization) and adaptation strategy to climate change. CLIMIT seeks to promote the development of growth strategies, adapted to each company, with a goal of lower carbon emissions and adaptation to changing climate conditions, but also with favorable economic results and a positive social impact.

In this way, we work on the measurement of the carbon footprint or the generation of carbon credits, which generates an additional economic income for the projects of our clients. Agustin Inthamoussu, the founder of CLIMIT, has been working on climate change for more than 15 years, which has led him to be part of the United Nations Panel of Experts on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as a reviewer of greenhouse gas inventories. He is also a member of the Observatory of Energy and Sustainable Development of the Catholic University of Uruguay.
