The Uruguay Country Brand will participate in the 10th Ibero-American Country Brand Forum in Cusco, Peru. This meeting brings together the authorities of the region's Country Brand and international speakers who will bring together global trends in branding and country positioning and share management experiences among the Ibero-American Country Brand Council (CIMAP) members.

The meeting, which will take place between September 12 and 14, will include a presentation by Uruguay XXI's Country Brand Manager, Larissa Perdomo, who will participate in the panel's Public diplomacy and country/territorial image efforts.

Uruguay XXI will present its new Country Brand licensing under LSQA certification. The conferences will be held at the Cusco City Convention Center.

Last year, Uruguay hosted the IX Ibero-American Country Brand Forum, attended by national authorities and more than 30 representatives from Ibero-America. The activity brought together global trends in branding and country positioning and allowed the sharing of management experiences among the members of the Ibero-American Country Brand Council (CIMAP).

Uruguay was the creator and organizer of the first regional forum in 2013. With an itinerant venue, the forum strengthens through place marketing, place branding, and place-making strategies the links between the council members through the exchange of experiences in the narrative, design, and management of the region's country brands.
