Uruguay XXI coordinated the participation of 18 companies in LAC Flavors, one of the most important events in the food and beverage sector in Latin America that took place from November 7 to 8 in Buenos Aires, where business meetings were held with potential buyers.

For the first time the LAC Flavors fair was merged with AlimentAR in a single event, allowing attendees to promote their products to a larger audience and do business in both activities.

Uruguay participated as every year with a country stand representing 18 Uruguayan companies in the food sector: jams, snacks, wines, oils, alfajores, rice, caviar, food supplements, rice, and spices, among others.

Through the business round, Uruguayan companies were able to maintain between 3 and 10 business meetings one-on-one with registered buyers, generating business opportunities.

The fair was a great opportunity to learn about the latest world trends in the industry and to generate new contacts with the more than 100 food importing companies that attended, as well as the possibility of participating in specialized workshops free of charge.

This event is organized by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), through ConnectAmericas, with the support of the AlimentAr Fair and the Argentine Agency for Investment and International Trade.
