Proexport +: support for the export process

Proexport + is the new program managed by Uruguay XXI within the framework of the National Productive Transformation and Competitiveness Transforma Uruguay System, financed by the National Development Agency (ANDE) and the National Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (INEFOP), with the support of the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) and the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining (MIEM).

Specifically designed for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) exporting or with export potential, the Proexport + program conceives of internationalization as a process and accompanies companies in different facets thereof..

Through this instrument, companies can receive co-financing to strengthen the generation of skills or to boost their marketing and sales strategy, within the framework of a customized internationalization project.

The activities that can be co-financed include training, certifications, development and improvement of products, design and packaging, professionalization or creation of the area of foreign trade.

The internationalization plan can also contemplate business missions, market studies, legal advice, exploratory visits, participation in fairs, visits to clients, business rounds, inverse or technological missions, and registration and protection of trademarks and patents in the target markets. .

The new program was presented to businessmen, chambers and institutions on the first day of September of this year, with the presence of the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining Carolina Cosse and the Minister of Economy Danilo Astori, together with Antonio Carámbula, Executive Director of Uruguay XXI, agency of the system that manages the instrument. Also present were the director of the National Productive Transformation and Competitiveness System Álvaro Ons and the authorities of the institutions that support the program.

In the framework of the launch of Proexport +, the Encuesta Mipymes exportadoras de Bienes y Servicios, survey carried out by Uruguay XXI that supports the approach of the new instrument.

How to access to  Proexport+?

Through the new program, companies can receive co-financing of a non-reimbursable contribution of up to $ 40,000 per project.

After applying through the website of Uruguay XXI, companies access a free diagnosis whose purpose is to identify the situation of each, whether they start in the export activity or need to consolidate in it.

If they are selected, they must present an internationalization project with a maximum duration of 24 months, which will include a strategic plan and an action plan
