Founder of Estudio Palermo, author of illustrated books, and audiovisual producer with over 25 years of international experience. His work is characterized by its graphic versatility and narrative depth.
He has dedicated himself primarily to producing works focused on childhood, human relationships, and social issues. His publications and productions have had a significant international reach. Some of his books, *I am an animal* (Libros del Zorro Rojo), *The Capybaras* (Ediciones Ekaré), and *The Fence* (Ediciones Ekaré), have been translated into 18 languages and have received prestigious awards such as the White Ravens (Munich), the Cuatrogatos Foundation (Miami), Banco del libro de Venezuela and the New York Public Library. His audiovisual works are distributed mainly in Europe and the Americas and have won notable awards at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Prix Jeunesse International, the Quirino Awards for Ibero-American Animation, Chilemonos, Animamundi (Brazil), and comKids (Brazil), among others.

The Capybaras

The curiosity of the youngest members of the families will forge a bond with unexpected consequences. Picture book, originally published in Spanish by Ediciones Ekaré (Barcelona) and in French by Didier Jeunesse (Paris), subsequently published in 16 other languages.

Antonia y Francisca se conocen un día de verano junto a la cerca que separa sus casas y viven una historia de amistad sincera. Las vacaciones se terminan pero sus vidas recién empiezan. El tiempo les enseñará que existen otras cercas, invisibles, y que el lado de esas cercas en el que les tocó nacer, determinará las oportunidades que tendrán en sus vidas. The Capybaras

An adaptation of the book "The Capybaras" into an animated short film, a co-production with France and Chile. The film premiered in 2024, enjoyed wide global distribution, and won 20 international awards by 2025.
