Editorial Morisqueta
Children's publishing house dedicated to creating high-quality illustrated books for children and families. Morisqueta seeks to spark imagination and a love of reading through carefully crafted editions that connect art and literature.
Editorial Morisqueta is an independent children's publishing house based in Uruguay, founded in 2022 and specialized in high-quality picture books. Its editorial project aims to bring literature, poetry, and ideas closer to young readers through carefully crafted, contemporary, and visually distinctive editions. Its catalogue combines the work of classic authors with new voices in contemporary literature, in dialogue with renowned illustrators from different countries. Each book is conceived as an aesthetic experience that connects literature, art, and knowledge, stimulating imagination, curiosity, and discovery from early childhood.
The publishing house has received national and international recognition: its first book, El rojo orgulloso, was selected for the BRAW Amazing Bookshelf at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair and received the Premio a las Letras – Ópera Prima in Uruguay in the Children’s and Young Adult Literature category. Morisqueta’s books currently circulate and have been published in more than 16 countries.

Las canciones de Natacha
