Business Mission to Accompany President Orsi on Official Visit to China
Uruguay’s Office of the Presidency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Uruguay XXI invite companies to join the business delegation accompanying President Yamandú Orsi’s official visit to China.

The Office of the Presidency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with Uruguay XXI, are inviting Uruguayan companies to take part in the business delegation that will accompany the official visit of the President of the Republic, Yamandú Orsi, to the People’s Republic of China.
The visit will take place from February 3 to 7, 2026, with the main business activities scheduled in Beijing and Shanghai. The delegation’s core agenda will be held on February 3 and 4 in Beijing, and on February 5 and 6 in Shanghai. A detailed program of activities will be shared in the coming weeks.
The mission aims to strengthen bilateral economic relations, promote Uruguay’s export and investment opportunities, and foster direct engagement between Uruguayan companies and key Chinese counterparts, including institutional and business stakeholders.
Participating companies will be responsible for covering their own travel, accommodation, local transportation, and related expenses. The organizing institutions will provide recommendations regarding flights and hotels to facilitate travel planning.
Companies interested in joining the delegation must complete the registration form by January 16, 2026.
