Uruguay was present at Impact Trade with triple impact companies
With the coordination of Uruguay XXI, national companies participated in the international fair that promotes sustainable and collaborative business models

Uruguay played a leading role in a new edition of Impact Trade, an international platform that promotes business models with a triple impact focus—economic, social, and environmental. With the support of Uruguay XXI and its Country Brand Management, national enterprises represented the country at this event, which brought together leaders from across Latin America.
The event, known for its relaxed atmosphere and outdoor networking dynamics, was attended by a Uruguayan delegation of three companies that exemplify the diversity of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. Ramona Warrior, creator of the first instant cappuccino in Uruguay and the Americas, represented the food sector free of dairy, gluten, sugar, and GMOs. These represented the services sector – The Software Evolution, while the products category featured Matesuru, which specializes in mate-related items such as materas, bombillas, and accessories.
Each of these companies bears the Marca País Uruguay seal, and their presence at the event was part of an internationalization strategy aimed at promoting Uruguayan products and services aligned with the values of sustainability, innovation, and identity.
The forum, which took place in Chile, included two main panels. The first addressed alternatives to traditional trade models in the context of growing geopolitical tensions. The second focused on Chile’s consolidation as a regional hub for impact businesses. In this context, the participation of a regional representative from IKEA stood out, whose presentation on sustainable practices surprised attendees with the magnitude of the actions implemented.
Impact Trade combined formal and interactive dynamics, such as outdoor walking rounds, which facilitated the creation of genuine links between participants. This was complemented by an innovative digital platform with QR scanning, which allows access to contact profiles and interaction indicators to strengthen long-term links.
This year’s edition confirmed the strong presence of Latin America, with Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile leading the way and countries such as Bolivia and Colombia also participating.
Uruguay’s presence at Impact Trade reinforced its commitment to inclusive, sustainable, and collaborative economic development and positioned its emerging companies in a scenario where purposeful innovation is becoming increasingly important.
