Uruguay enthusiastically celebrates an important milestone at Expo Osaka 2025: more than 100,000 visitors toured the country’s pavilion in the first seven days of the exhibition. This achievement reaffirms the interest that Uruguay and its proposal are generating in one of the most essential global stages of the year.

The Uruguayan pavilion was designed as an immersive experience that invites visitors to discover the talent, culture, innovation, and commitment to sustainability that distinguish Uruguay. Every space element has been designed to convey the values that characterize the country and project a contemporary image connected to the future.

This result is the fruit of the coordinated work of multiple actors committed to showing the world Uruguay’s strengths. Businesspeople, international visitors, tourists, and compatriots—including Uruguayans living in Japan—have found a space for encounter and national pride in the pavilion. One of the most emotional moments of this first week was the visit of a Japanese citizen who collaborated with the Uruguay pavilion at Expo Osaka 1970, reflecting the long-standing ties between the two countries.

With an estimated six million visitors expected through October, Uruguay will continue to share its proposals in a space designed to inspire, connect, and open new opportunities.
