Expo Dubai

Uruguay will be part of the universal exhibition Expo Dubai, the first to be held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.

Expo Dubai will run from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 and will be attended by 190 countries, as well as multilateral organizations, companies and educational institutions. The main theme this time will be "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future", and will work on three other sub-themes: opportunity, mobility and sustainability.

The expo represents an exceptional opportunity for international insertion and is a unique platform to generate international alliances, build connections and partnerships, as well as realize commercial and business opportunities with the Arab world and the more than 190 participating countries.

Expo Dubai will offer nine thematic weeks to create specific opportunities for industries, in addition to commercial forums and collaborative opportunities with other markets. Find out more about Expo Dubai's agenda here.

Uruguay at Expo Dubai - Test Uruguay

Uruguay will showcase at the universal expo why it is the gateway to business in Latin America and its leading role as a reliable exporter of goods and services.

The country will develop different types of activities during the 10 thematic weeks of the expo, with the aim of promoting commercial, artistic and cultural opportunities. Uruguay's pavilion will be located in the Opportunity wing and will offer on the first floor a space for free circulation, exhibition of national products and a soccer corner, while on the upper floor there will be offices and meeting rooms available for Uruguayan businessmen and entrepreneurs who need to coordinate their business activities.

Uruguay's National Day is celebrated on February 21.
