The National Directorate of Culture, through the National Institute of Music (INMUS) and the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, in coordination with Uruguay XXI, has launched a call for applications for managers, producers, and venue programmers interested in participating in the international event Primavera Pro 2026, to be held in Barcelona, Spain.

The initiative is part of the Conecta program, designed to strengthen the internationalization of Uruguay’s music sector by supporting participation in markets, trade fairs, and key professional networking spaces.

Through this program, applicants may request financial support to attend the 2026 edition of Primavera Pro, one of Europe’s leading music industry gatherings, held as part of the Primavera Sound festival.

A key meeting point for the music industry

Every year, Primavera Pro brings together professionals from around the world, including representatives from record labels, agencies, festival and venue programmers, music publishers, digital platforms, managers, and institutional delegations.

The event has established itself as a strategic platform for professional exchange, the development of international connections, and discussions on trends shaping the music industry.

Its program includes conferences, training sessions, networking activities, and showcases aimed at promoting the international circulation of artists. As such, the event serves as an important hub for generating partnerships and international opportunities within the contemporary music scene.

The Primavera Pro 2026 edition will take place from June 3 to 7 in Barcelona, Spain.

Promoting the internationalization of the sector

The call for applications aims to strengthen the internationalization, visibility, positioning, and professional development of Uruguay’s music sector, facilitating its integration into global industry circuits.

The initiative is supported by Uruguay XXI and is part of the internationalization strategy promoted by the National Directorate of Culture.

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the culturaenlinea.uy platform and will remain open until April 8, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
