Uruguay’s ICT sector companies visit Mexico - 2023

Companies from Uruguay’s ICT sector are visiting Mexico with the support of the investment, export, and country image promotion institute, Uruguay XXI, the Uruguayan Embassy in Mexico, and the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology (CUTI).

The companies will meet with Mexican counterparts to show them the highlights of the work that Uruguay is developing in the ICT sector.
Uruguay is a first-class business center which has made remarkable advances in technology. It has exceptional Internet connectivity and penetration and is the most advanced Latin American country in ICT development. It is the largest per capita exporter of software in South America and the fourth largest exporter in dollars in Latin America (2021).

In recent years, the sector has shown a strong dynamism, growing well above the rest of the economy and reaching relevant export destinations.
