Corporate Market Fit Program

Uruguay XXI and the venture capital consulting firm Investability are inviting companies to participate in the Corporate Market Fit Program, a training initiative designed to strengthen the level of corporate maturity needed to scale operations, expand into new markets, and prepare for capital-raising processes.

The program will consist of two separate 90-minute modules. Companies may participate in one or both, depending on their needs and current stage of development.

• Module 1 | Scaling and Expansion
  October 14 | 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  Aimed at companies undergoing operational growth or entering new markets. The module will address how to prepare the corporate structure to support that growth, focusing on three areas:
  - Structure and governance: corporate structure, decision-making bodies, partners’ roles, and decision-making mechanisms when bringing in new stakeholders.
  - Risk management: contracts with customers and suppliers, labor issues, intellectual property, and protection of know-how.
  - Expansion and value: vehicles and subsidiaries for entering new markets, basic tax and regulatory aspects, and relevant documentation for buyers, strategic partners, or corporate clients.

• Module 2 | Capital Raising
  October 21 | 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  Designed for companies that are currently raising capital or wish to begin the process. This session will provide an understanding of the standards required by the venture capital ecosystem and how to prepare before approaching potential investors.
  Topics will include presentations to investors, the metrics and information that must be available; organizing the cap table, dilution, vesting, and stock option plans; and the main financing instruments, such as SAFEs, convertible notes, equity, and debt.

Both modules will be led by Alejandra Pérez Faría, Venture Partner, who has over 10 years of experience advising startups and venture capital funds in the region.

Participation is online and requires prior registration. Interested companies may register through Sunday, October 11.
