Gamescom Alemania 2026

Uruguay XXI, in coordination with the Uruguayan Video Game Chamber (CAVI) and the Uruguayan Film and Audiovisual Agency (ACAU), and with the support of the Uruguayan-German Chamber of Commerce, invites national video game studios and developers to apply to join the Uruguayan delegation at Gamescom Germany 2026, one of the most iconic and significant video game events in the global industry.

The event will take place from August 26 to 30, 2026, in Cologne, Germany, and brings together developers, publishers, investors, and other key players in the global ecosystem, with a strong presence of European and Asian companies, combining exhibitions, conferences, and a robust business agenda.

Uruguay at Gamescom Germany

Uruguay will have a country booth in the business area, offering companies an institutional space for visibility, networking, and generating business opportunities, as well as a meeting point for discussions with potential strategic partners.

Those participating in the delegation will have access to:

- Use of the country booth as a meeting space and gathering point.

- The opportunity to be included in the catalog of Uruguayan studios, which will bring together participating companies and serve as a promotional tool for the sector.

Among the participating companies, 5 will be selected to receive:

- Free accreditation.

- Access to official platforms for managing business meetings.

- Support through ACAU’s international positioning initiative to cover part of the costs of travel and/or accommodation. Support will be granted to a maximum of 5 studios and will amount to USD 1,500 per beneficiary.
