LogiPharma - Niza 2022

For the fourth time in a row, Uruguay XXI will participate in LogiPharma 2022, the largest end-to-end supply chain event for pharma companies in Europe. 

The conference will take place from April 5 to 7 in Niza, France. 

Uruguay's participation in the event is part of the investment promotion strategy that Uruguay XXI is carrying out in the pharmaceutical sector, with the goal of positioning the country as a regional hub for the industry. The Uruguayan delegation is integrated by the National Institute of Logistics - INALOG, Uruguay XXI and companies Aero cargas DHL, Latin America Cargo City and Zonamerica.

Hence, the country will be promoted as an attractive destination for pharma companies to settle its distribution centers for Latin America, as has already been done by AstraZeneca, Megalabs, Merck, Roche, and GSK, which distribute their products to the region through Uruguay.

Success story in Uruguay

On April 6th, there will be a panel discussion "How can you continue to best manage multi-modal logistics and distribution efforts amidst disruption to ensure continuity of supply and overcome capacity and cost challenges?" where the case of the company CSL Behring and its establishment process in the country. The case will be presented by Peter Flury, Head of Transport EMEA of CSL Behring.
