Transportation and Urban Mobility Conference in Uruguay 2026

Uruguay XXI will participate in the conference Transport Infrastructure and Urban Mobility in Uruguay.
Organized by ICEX and the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Montevideo, the conference will take place on June 17 at the Hyatt Centric Hotel and will bring together representatives from public agencies, companies, and financial institutions involved in transport infrastructure development.
The event will feature a delegation comprising at least 16 leading Spanish companies, including the Madrid Municipal Transport Company and ADIF, the administrator of Spain’s railway infrastructure.
The Deputy Executive Director of Uruguay XXI, Martín Mercado, will be part of one of the event’s panels.
The meeting will allow Spanish companies to gain firsthand knowledge of the main projects and opportunities for investment and participation in road, rail, urban transport, and mobility infrastructure in Uruguay. Additionally, the event will address issues related to infrastructure management models, financing mechanisms, and the sector’s development prospects in the coming years.
Representatives from the National Railway Transport Directorate, the National Road Directorate, the National Transport Directorate, and financial and multilateral organizations will also participate.
