    The forestry sector is one of the most dynamic in the Uruguayan economy. From the Forestry Law (in 1987) to date, plantations and wood extraction multiplied by five, giving rise to the installation of important investments in the sawing and cellulose industry.

    There are significant opportunities for plantations and the installation of industries that add greater value to wood. Uruguay is a stable and reliable country plenty of high-quality raw materials (pine & eucalyptus). Moreover, both the primary and the industrial phase receive outstanding tax benefits.
