Ignacio Pignataro

He is a young Uruguayan athlete member of the Uruguayan Surf Team. His passion for the water began at the age of 6 years old, today he is present in the elite of the world Longboard.

Ignacio "Nacho" Pignataro is a young Uruguayan athlete member of the Uruguayan Surf Team. His passion for the water began at the age of 6 years old, today he is present in the elite of the world Longboard.

He has traveled the coasts of Spain, France, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, California, Hawaii, China, among other countries in search of the perfect waves.

He represented Uruguay in the World Surf Legue and Panamerican Surfing Games. He was also the only Uruguayan invited, four consecutive times, to the Mexi Long Fest.

Ignacio is ranked number 5 in the 2018 ISA World Ranking in China and in the Top 25 of the WSL Latin American Ranking. In 2015 he won a Copper Medal at the Pan American Games in Lima. He is ranked among the top 11 in the world after achieving that result at the ISA Worlds in Biarritz, France in 2019.
