IX Ibero-American Country Brand Forum - Uruguay 2022
27 to 28 October 2022
Uruguay will host the region's Country Brand authorities and international speakers at a new Ibero-American forum that will bring together global trends in branding and country positioning and allow members of the Ibero-American Country Brand Council (CIMAP) to share management experiences.
The meeting will be held over two days, on October 27 and 28, in a hybrid format.
Coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the first forum in the country, Uruguay will also chair CIMAP for the next year.
This meeting is the regional technical instance to strengthen ties between its members and boost economic, trade and investment relations between companies in Ibero-American countries through the exchange of experiences in the design, construction, management and sustainability of country and destination brands.
The event will offer a first open day in Montevideo, to which the specialized public (students, researchers, state and municipal referents) will be able to access by means of an online application and registration. The second day in Punta del Este will be a private technical instance of benchmarking and networking among the members of CIMAP, formed by the state organizations responsible for the Country Brand or Destination Brand of the countries.
With an itinerant venue, the Country Brand forum strengthens, through place marketing, place branding and place making strategies, the links between the members of the council through the exchange of experiences in the narrative, design and management of the region's country brands.
