Uruguay XXI organized multisectoral business visit to Bogotá

Thirteen Uruguayan companies held business meetings with counterparts in Colombia.

Uruguay XXI, the institute for the promotion of investments, exports and Country Brand, coordinated a commercial visit to the Colombian capital city that lasted from Tuesday, June 19 to Thursday, June 21. Since 2014, the agency has organized trips to this destination with the objective of leveraging commercial relations between exporting companies and Colombian buyers.

The visit, made up of a group of 13 companies from different sectors, aimed to promote exports -which are made feasible through contacts- and enable the organization of business meetings, by Aserto consultancy, tailored to the needs of each company.

"We commit to undertake these actions in the Colombian market with the clear purpose of supporting and increasing exports to this destination. The companies that participated expressed their satisfaction regarding the organized activities and the opportunities that were opened in this visit, "said the representative of Uruguay XXI who came along with the companies in this occasion.

The Ambassador of Uruguay in Colombia, Alfredo Bogliaccini, organized a welcome reception for the business delegation that took place on Tuesday, June 19.

The services companies Daniel Reyes, wholesale travel agent, STB Software testing bureau and Nodum, from the IT sector; Lab Sud, architecture and engineering, Cervieri consultancy and architecture firm Gómez Platero, .participated in the activities.

 While good exporting companies were UBP, exporter of beef, sheep and fish, the Marichal and Pizzorno wineries, the Punta Ballena alfajores brand, the Curtifrance tannery and the Apiter laboratory.
