Uruguay will be present at China International Import Expo (CIIE) with a country stand coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Uruguay XXI, which invites companies to participate in the delegation that will be present at this fair that brings together Chinese importers and international exporters. The meeting will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10.

Uruguayan companies will be able to promote their products and services in the primary Asian market and contact their Chinese counterparts, importers of food, goods, and services. The meeting will bring together more than 150,000 buyers and exhibitors from more than 150 countries.

This participation represents an excellent opportunity to publicize Uruguay’s export potential for goods and services. In this context, Uruguay XXI, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will organize a country event that will promote Uruguay as the business and innovation hub of Latin America, with the participation of business people, investors, opinion leaders, and government representatives.

China is one of the leading destinations for Uruguayan exports, mainly of products such as beef and meat by-products, soybeans, and dairy products.
